What Is My IP Address? IPv4 & IPv6 Checker
Your public IPv4 and IPv6 addresses, found separately, with the location, ISP and network type every website you visit can see.
What every site sees when you connect
Your IPv4 and IPv6 addresses, found separately, and what each one gives away: where you are, who your provider is, and whether it reads as residential, mobile or a datacenter.

Plenty of home and office connections still have no IPv6 route, and some routers switch it off. If your provider does not offer it, the IPv6 check has nothing to reach and shows as not detected. That is normal and does not mean anything is broken.
IP geolocation is a database lookup, not GPS. It usually gets the country right and the city roughly right, and it often places an address at its provider's hub instead of where you actually are. Mobile networks and IPv6 addresses tend to be the least precise.
If you are connected through one, yes: the page shows the address your traffic leaves from, which is the proxy's or the VPN's, not your own. That makes it a quick way to confirm a proxy is actually in use.
The geolocation database lists the address as a known proxy, VPN or Tor exit. Sites that block proxy traffic tend to use the same kind of list, so a flagged address is more likely to meet captchas.
The page does not log lookups against you. Like any website, our server sees the address your request comes from, and it caches each address's geolocation for an hour so the same lookup is not repeated.
