Its limits, ads, server locations and what its privacy policy says it logs — every fact sourced and dated." url: "https://serpproxies.com/web-proxy/proxysite" --- Web proxy review # ProxySite Review What ProxySite costs, what it limits, where its servers are and what its privacy policy says it keeps — from its own site, every fact linked to its source. Prices and policies checked October 12, 2026 [Try a residential proxy free](https://app.serpproxies.com/sign-up?product=residential) [ProxySite vs a residential proxy](#comparison) The short answer ProxySite is a free web proxy from Pryvacy, the company behind PearlVPN, with 20 US and 20 EU servers to choose from and ads paid for by Google AdSense. Its privacy policy is unusually specific — URLs are logged for abuse checks and deleted after 14 days — but its terms say anonymity isn't guaranteed and pages may come back over an unsecure connection. Cost Free, ad-supported [\[1\]](#source-1) Server locations 20 US and 20 EU servers; countries not named [\[1\]](#source-1) Free-tier limits None published; may throttle or limit "at our sole discretion" [\[2\]](#source-2) Ads Yes, Google AdSense [\[3\]](#source-3) Logging URLs monitored for abuse, logs deleted after 14 days [\[3\]](#source-3) Run by Pryvacy (also runs PearlVPN) [\[4\]](#source-4) About ProxySite ## ProxySite, on the record Facts from their own site and policies — no review-site hearsay. Each one is linked to its source. ### What ProxySite does well - Free, with a choice of 40 servers: US1–US20 and EU1–EU20. [\[1\]](#source-1) - Returns every page over SSL, even when the site you open has no HTTPS. [\[1\]](#source-1) - A short, specific log period: URL logs for abuse monitoring are deleted after 14 days. [\[3\]](#source-3) - A settings page lets you change the user agent and referrer and manage cookies set through the proxy. [\[8\]](#source-8) - A named operator: Pryvacy, "the company behind ProxySite.com and PearlVPN.com". [\[4\]](#source-4) ### Where ProxySite is limited - Google AdSense ads run on the site, and ad networks receive your IP address. [\[3\]](#source-3) - URLs are logged for 14 days, and site logs include IP address, browser and ISP. [\[3\]](#source-3) - Its terms warn a page fetched securely "may be sent back to you over an unsecure connection" and that anonymity isn't guaranteed. [\[2\]](#source-2) - Servers are labelled only "US" or "EU" — no specific countries are published. [\[1\]](#source-1) - Usage limits or bandwidth throttling can be applied at the operator's discretion. [\[2\]](#source-2) Side by side ## ProxySite vs a residential proxy Not the same product, so no row is scored. ProxySite opens a page inside its own site; a residential proxy is a gateway your browser, app or scraper connects through, on IPs from real home connections. ProxySite.com presents itself as a "Free Web Proxy" with US and EU servers, and Google AdSense ads pay for it. Its privacy policy says it monitors URLs for abuse and deletes those logs after 14 days, and that it doesn't "look at or capture any data that passes through our networks". Its terms warn that pages may come back over an unsecure connection and that "we do not guarantee our service will be truly anonymous" — so don't enter confidential information through it. ProxySite has a dedicated YouTube proxy page and says it is "optimized" for high-definition video. Its terms don't guarantee that every site will work. The footer credits Pryvacy, which describes itself as "The company behind ProxySite.com and PearlVPN.com". ProxySite's terms are governed by Minnesota law and give a Grandville, Michigan mailing address. The server dropdown lists 20 US servers (US1–US20) and 20 EU servers (EU1–EU20). Specific countries aren't published. In 2025 its site offered a premium VPN at $9.99 a month, or $5.99 a month billed yearly. The 2026 home page no longer links to it, though its terms still describe paid subscription plans — check the site before you rely on either.
