Its limits, ads, server locations and what its privacy policy says it logs — every fact sourced and dated." url: "https://serpproxies.com/web-proxy/proxyorb" --- Web proxy review # ProxyOrb Review What ProxyOrb costs, what it limits, where its servers are and what its privacy policy says it keeps — from its own site, every fact linked to its source. Prices and policies checked October 12, 2026 [Try a residential proxy free](https://app.serpproxies.com/sign-up?product=residential) [ProxyOrb vs a residential proxy](#comparison) Before you use ProxyOrb ## Only proxyorb.com is the official ProxyOrb - ProxyOrb says "The only official ProxyOrb domain is proxyorb.com" and that look-alike domains are not affiliated with it. [\[1\]](#source-1) - It says it launched on January 15, 2025. [\[2\]](#source-2) The short answer ProxyOrb is a free, ad-supported web proxy launched in January 2025, with a Chrome extension and nothing to sign up for. It publishes more about its logging than most — no URL logs, IP access logs kept up to 60 days — but you can't choose a country, it doesn't say who runs it, and its terms forbid automated scraping. Cost Free, ad-supported, no paid plan [\[3\]](#source-3) Server locations No location picker; locations not published [\[3\]](#source-3) Free-tier limits No time cap published; large files truncated at an unstated size [\[4\]](#source-4) Ads Yes, "non-intrusive advertisements" [\[3\]](#source-3) Logging IP access logs kept up to 60 days; no URL logging [\[5\]](#source-5) Run by Not published ("a small, passionate team") [\[2\]](#source-2) About ProxyOrb ## ProxyOrb, on the record Facts from their own site and policies — no review-site hearsay. Each one is linked to its source. ### What ProxyOrb does well - Free with "No registration, no software installation". [\[3\]](#source-3) - Publishes specific retention periods: IP access logs up to 60 days, support emails up to 30 days after resolution, and no logging of the URLs you visit. [\[5\]](#source-5) - Has a toggle to turn off analytics on proxied pages, and says query strings and page titles are never sent to Google Analytics. [\[5\]](#source-5) - A Chrome extension proxies the current page in one click or any link from the right-click menu. [\[9\]](#source-9) - Uses HTTPS between you and its servers. [\[5\]](#source-5) ### Where ProxyOrb is limited - Ad-supported, and third-party ad networks may set cookies or web beacons. [\[5\]](#source-5) - Keeps IP-address access logs for up to 60 days, while its home page FAQ says it doesn't store your "original IP address". [\[5\]](#source-5) - No server or country picker, and no server locations named. [\[3\]](#source-3) - "Files larger than the specified size will be automatically truncated" — the size isn't given. [\[4\]](#source-4) - No company name, country or governing law is published. [\[2\]](#source-2) - Its terms prohibit automated scraping and feeding data to bots. [\[4\]](#source-4) Side by side ## ProxyOrb vs a residential proxy Not the same product, so no row is scored. ProxyOrb opens a page inside its own site; a residential proxy is a gateway your browser, app or scraper connects through, on IPs from real home connections. ProxyOrb compared with SerpProxies residential Feature ProxyOrb SerpProxies residential What it costs ProxyOrb Free, ad-supported, no paid plan [\[3\]](#source-3) SerpProxies residential Free, up to 2 GB of residential traffic, no card [\[6\]](#source-6) How you use it ProxyOrb Paste a URL into the box on its home page; a service worker in your browser routes the page through its servers [\[2\]](#source-2) SerpProxies residential A gateway you set in any browser, app or scraper: HTTP(S), SOCKS5, plus UDP on UDP Residential [\[7\]](#source-7) Locations ProxyOrb No location picker; locations not published [\[3\]](#source-3) SerpProxies residential Country, state, city and ASN, included [\[7\]](#source-7) Limits ProxyOrb No time cap published; large files truncated at an unstated size [\[4\]](#source-4) SerpProxies residential None: top up a balance and pay per unit [\[8\]](#source-8) Beyond the browser tab ## Need more than one tab? Use a residential proxy Up to 2 GB of residential traffic free, no card. Set it in your browser, app or scraper and pick the country, state or city. It says "No fees, no hidden charges" and pays for its servers by showing "non-intrusive advertisements". There is no paid plan. ProxyOrb uses HTTPS between you and its servers and says it doesn't record the pages you visit. Its privacy policy also says "minimal access logs (IP addresses) are retained for a maximum of 60 days", and third-party ad networks may set cookies. As with any web proxy, don't log in to accounts through it. ProxyOrb says you can "stream YouTube, Vimeo, and other platforms" through it. It doesn't publish any limits on video. There is a Chrome extension, "ProxyOrb - Free Web Proxy Extension", which proxies the current page or any link you right-click. There's no mobile app; on a phone you use it in the browser. It doesn't name a company or country. Its About page describes "a small, passionate team" and gives support@proxyorb.com as the contact, and its Chrome listing says the developer "has not identified itself as a trader". ProxyOrb says "The only official ProxyOrb domain is proxyorb.com" and that other domains using the name are not affiliated with it.
