# IPv6 Proxy Checker

Paste a list and see which proxies really exit over IPv6. Each one gets a request to an IPv6-only address and one to an IPv4-only address, so you get both exit IPs.

## Which of your proxies exit over IPv6

Paste a list, IPv6 hosts in \[brackets\]. Each line gets two real requests: one to an IPv6-only address, one to an IPv4-only address.

What's included

## Everything in the IPv6 checker

01 A real IPv6-only test The IPv6 request goes to an address with no IPv4 record at all, so a proxy that cannot exit over IPv6 has no way to fake a pass.

02 Both exits, side by side The IPv6 address a proxy leaves from and its IPv4 fallback, per line. IPv4-only proxies show as live but not IPv6.

03 IPv6 hosts accepted Bracketed IPv6 proxy hosts like \[2001:db8::1\]:8080 parse alongside hostnames and IPv4, in every format the proxy checker takes.

04 An IPv6 rate for the list The share of checked proxies that exit over IPv6, so a batch can be judged at a glance before you build on it.

05 Latency and location Round-trip time through each proxy and the country its exit address geolocates to.

06 Nothing stored The list is parsed in your browser and each proxy is used for one check, then dropped.

Put the address in square brackets before the port: \[2001:db8::1\]:8080, or with credentials, user:pass@\[2001:db8::1\]:8080 or \[2001:db8::1\]:8080:user:pass. Without the brackets there is no way to tell the address's colons from the port's.

No, that is the usual setup. You connect to a gateway over IPv4 and the gateway sends your request out from an IPv6 address. The checker tests the exit, so these pass as IPv6 as long as the exit is.

The proxy works but could not reach the IPv6-only address, so every request through it leaves over IPv4. For a site that only takes IPv6, or a job that needs a large pool of IPv6 addresses, it will not do.

Connecting to a proxy at an IPv6 address needs an IPv6 route from our checker to that host, and not every network has one. If your provider also offers an IPv4 gateway for the same proxies, check that instead.
